About Dr. Ashlee Green-Horner
Dr. Ashlee Green-Horner is a native of a small town in Oklahoma. Growing up in a small community, she became very involved in her community and developed the desire to give back. This led to her wishing to become a doctor and provide excellent care to her community. What is Dr. Green-Horner’s main goal? To make sure her patients know that their concerns are heard, their goals are met, and that they receive the best care possible. She looks to treat all of her patients with a personalized approach. Dr. Green-Horner believes that healthcare is a team effort and looks forward to working with her patients to create an ideal and personalized treatment plan to get them pain-free.
Her professional interests include all facets of the foot and ankle pathology ranging from common foot problems such as bunions, hammertoes, heel pain, and ingrown nails to sports injuries and trauma. Also, coming from a patient base that was primarily high-risk diabetic patients, she has a large focus on the management of the diabetic foot, wound care, but her main focus is on preventative care.
Dr. Green-Horner obtained her Bachelors of Science degree in Medical/Molecular Biology at Rogers State University and a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration from Oklahoma State University. She then received her doctorate in podiatric medicine from Dr. William M Scholl College a Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois and completed her residency training at the James H Quillen VA medical center in Johnson City, Tennessee where she served as chief resident of her program.
When Dr. Green-Horner is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and soon-to-be husband here in St. Louis. She also has a passion for cooking, the arts, traveling, and spending time with her two dogs, Walter and Maggie.
