About Dr. Ann Wolford

Dr. Wolford is strongly committed to providing the best foot and ankle care for her patients while developing a close professional relationship with them.  She considers it extremely important to involve the patient in decision making and the treatment plan.  With extensive conservative and surgical training of foot and ankle conditions, she can assure patients that they are in good hands.

She feels the most rewarding thing about choosing a career in podiatry is the ability to make patients feel better, often with just one visit. Dr. Wolford approaches every condition with a conservative approach first, before progressing to something more invasive.  After a condition has resolved, she likes to focus on education and prevention to avoid future injury or ailment.

In her spare time she enjoys long distance running and road races. She has been a past medical volunteer at events such as the Boston Marathon and Peachtree Road Race, and plans to continue to use her sports medicine focused training in the community here in St Louis.

Dr. Wolford is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA where she obtained a bachelor of science in Biology. She earned her doctorate of podiatric medicine at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her surgical residency training at the Atlanta Department of Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Wolford is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
